About the Airline Academy

   Established in 1972, The Airline Academy has gained recognition as one of the finest aviation training facilities in the world, with students having attended from over 63 countries in addition to all fifty states. In 1995, customer service, flight attendant, and aircraft dispatch training were added to the curriculum to meet the continuing personnel needs of the commercial airline industry. All training is conducted at the Daytona Beach International Airport located on the Atlantic coast of Florida.

Daytona Beach Airport Terminal    Our instructors are carefully screened to insure a staff of fully licensed, experienced professionals. They are constantly evaluated in an ongoing effort to maintain high levels of teaching effectiveness, with proper attention to the students' individual learning and motivational needs. Flight Dispatch instructors all hold the highest FAA level of licenses including an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAR 121 certification. Customer service and flight attendant instructors all have at least twelve years of industry experience and supervisors currently hold or have held senior positions with major airline companies.

   The Airline Academy is certified by the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 61 and Part 65, Appendix A. We are also members of the National Air Transport Association, Florida Aviation Trades Association, and the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida.
